Very proud to have led team developing #IPCC SYR Figure SPM.1, released today, which shows how current and future generations have different experiences with climate change. 1/4
Dear Journalists covering tomorrow's IPCC report release,
First of all, THANK YOU.
Second of all, here are a couple of questions you should not be asking climate scientists, ever ever ever.

The review was requested by City Council in December 2020, just six months after the police killing of George Floyd.
Rhynhart’s office, along with two consulting firms and a community council of Philadelphians, talked to more than 30 members of the PPD as part of the review.
Congrats to Dr. Meenar @meenar, Dr. Howell @tedwardhowell, and Jenna Monaghan on their $100k NASA grant to better understand greenspace access in urban communities like Camden and Jersey City. #environmentaljustice#equity

It is immoral for oil & gas companies to be making record profits from the current energy crisis on the backs of the poorest, at a massive cost to the climate.
I urge all governments to tax these excessive profits & use the funds to support the most vulnerable people.
I just had a sudden flashback, remembering that one of my student work study jobs at the college library was to slide the day's newspapers onto the "newspaper stick" (pictured). Just an absolute flood of nostalgia
