@bitprophet I don't find either that difficult to read, but I read the first as "iterating through items, grab one" and the second as "turn the items into a list, then get the first one".

The first is what I typically write because it's more precisely what I want.

The bigger problem here is when we take that hard earned experience and conflate it with a subjective idea of "beauty". That's where you fall into the trap of turning your expertise into bias. And making others feel like they have to meet your personal aesthetic. Not necessary.

I read the information Apple put out yesterday and I'm concerned. I think this is the wrong approach and a setback for people's privacy all over the world.

People have asked if we'll adopt this system for WhatsApp. The answer is no.
