When I left my first job on renal ward I got told I would deskill myself.. 4 and a half years in community and I’ve learnt more than I could ever imagine.. I absolutely love community and will definitely be sad to leave!

So sad to hear that student nurses are still be told in the acute sector that to work in the community is to deskill. This proves otherwise. It’s not de-skilling it’s re-skilling. Let’s bust that myth. @Worksopnurses @TowneClaire @NottsHealthcare

Feeling slightly deflated after a difficult palliative visit today however I can feel proud that me and my colleague got the person into the hospice so quickly at their wishes- that’s the definition of team work ♥️
