We have updated the Smart Escrow Devnet to our eighth release. We are deep into the review and testing phase, and have now completed two security audits (those reports will be made public closer to release).

xrpld changelog:
- Adjust all the trace functions to return 0 instead of the length of the output, to improve performance of those host functions
- Add iteration support for Vector256 in the nested getter functions
- For functions that return or accept uint32s, switch to using buffers instead of int32s
- Respond to/fix several issues that arose during the security audits
- Disable several advanced WASM features that we don't want to support at this time (such as simd)
- Improve the gas framework

This week, residents dove deep into the #XRPL tech stack and regulatory landscape, blending hands-on coding with strategic insights for real-world impact.
🔷 Mon/Tue: XRPL Commons x École 42 Paris @42born2code training laid a strong foundation—from dev setup to exploring XRPL tooling, wallets, and APIs, connecting Web2 skills with blockchain.
🔷 Wed: Legal & Regulation with d&a partners @dna_partners focused on token definitions and risks under MiCA, shaping viable go-to-market and compliance strategies.
🔷 Thurs: Teams sprinted to refine project problem statements, value props, and revenue models—balancing innovation with legal risks in target geographies. Final pitches showcased thoughtful integration of tech and regulation.
🔷 Fri: Residents presented early progress, receiving feedback from peers and mentors. This reflection fueled “aha” moments and a clearer roadmap for the residency’s next phase.
