The regime led by Abiy Ahmed Ali in Ethiopia is accused of committing acts of genocide, continuing to execute daily drone strikes against civilians and civilian infrastructure throughout Tigray. On the nights of October 3 and 4, 2026, drones reportedly targeted various hotels and civil infrastructure in Adwa, Central Tigray, resulting in civilian casualties and the destruction of civilian property. Additionally, on October 4, 2026, a drone strike on an internally displaced people (IDP) center in Sheraro, Northwestern Tigray, resulted in the deaths of eight people, including a child, and injured six IDPs. The regime persists in its indiscriminate bombardment of civilians and civil infrastructure in Sheraro, Adigrat, and other towns and villages across Tigray. These actions, considered war crimes, necessitate intervention by the international community.

Ethiopia: First hand account of Eritrean troops now entering northern Tigray. Arriving South of Irob and marched into Adigrat. Given the treatment of people in Irob in recent years (disappearances and torture) civilians are wary. 1/2
#EthiopiaWatch🇪🇹: Last week, PM Abiy's government suspended Tigrai TV "indefinitely." This week, phone and internet service across Tigray have gone dark.
This is the handiwork of a Nobel Peace laureate.
WELCOME TO CENSORSHIP IN ETHIOPIA.
When I hear about another war in Ethiopia, Tigray, Amhara and Oromia I think of one issue above all others: the treatment of Women. The atrocities they suffered during the 2020-2022 Tigray war. Unspeakable abuse. Whatever else happens, can all sides please avoid a repetition?
Today, the #Ethiopia|n government carried out a drone strike on a humanitarian truck delivering food aid to internally displaced people in #Tigray.

Just days before a peace deal was signed last November that ended the war in Ethiopia’s #Tigray region, Eritrean soldiers killed more than 300 villagers near the Tigrayan town of #Adwa. (1/2)
We have seen a terrible civil war in #Ethiopia, particularly in the #Tigray region. Although a peace deal has been signed, it has not been implemented.
I spoke before the House Appropriations Committee on the need to ensure that the #Tigrayan people actually receive U.S. aid.
EU statement at the UN HRC52 includes a strong statement on the continuation of the mandate of the International Commission of Human Rights Experts on Ethiopia.
“The Commission on Human Rights Experts in Ethiopia has a central role to play in ensuring accountability.
WARNING! The #Amhara invading forces have been given ample time to withdraw from every inch of #Tigrai land but they are doing the opposite. They have committed ethnic cleansing, war crimes, crimes against humanity, & genocide against the people of Tigrai. Tigrai WILL act! RT
