‼️ ATTENTION UNDERGRAD STUDENTS AND UNIONIZED CAMPUS WORKERS ‼️
On Tuesday, February 28th, we will SHUT DOWN Temple University in support of @TUGSA_6290.
We will NOT go to class ALL DAY: We will PICKET, then RALLY @ 2.
Unionized campus workers, we encourage you to do the same.
Jason Wingard is out as president at Temple University after less than two years, capping a tumultuous time at the school, the board has announced.

Congratulations to @TUGSA_6290 for this massive victory!
Despite Temple admin’s gross tactics, TUGSA stood their ground and continued to fight back.
This victory proves that when workers fight back, they win.
Stand up, fight back. Always.
After four days of voting, membership has RATIFIED the March 9th Tentative Agreement 344-8. This ratification landslide and the gains of our new Collective Bargaining Agreement are a historic achievement for our union.

When working people fight, they WIN! So damn proud of @TUGSA_6290 and the hard won gains in this agreement. It was a honor to stand in solidarity with them.
@TempleUniv is a better place when it does better by the workers and students who make it what it is.
The students at @TempleUniv have been uncompromising in their support of our strike. They know that our working conditions are their learning conditions, and they showed up to prove it time and time again! Shout out to @TempleUSC@TUUWOC for their unwavering solidarity.

Today, we reached a new Tentative Agreement with @TempleUniv. This TA reflects the incredible work of striking members over the past six weeks. It includes significant movement on all four of our core demands! Members will now vote on whether or not to ratify the TA.

Our strength and your support put pressure on @TempleUniv admin to reverse their heinous decision to, without notification, deactivate our healthcare coverage since the start of the strike.
The pressure is working, let's keep it up until we get a fair contract!
Standing with @TUGSA_6290 here at the Capitol! These workers are the teachers and researchers that fuel @TempleUniv. They’ve been striking for five weeks for better wages, benefits, and working conditions for themselves and their colleagues. They deserve our support. ✊🏾
Update: TUGSA couldn’t talk to the president because of his chickenshit police escort but did manage to have a lovely convo with the provost, @ProvostMandel 😌😌😌
Striking student workers at Temple University are now forced to crowdfund their own health care premiums after the university cut off their health care—illegal retaliation for workers withholding their labor.

Today marks one month on strike for student-workers at Temple University, who will now miss a paycheck.
The university only pays them once a month, and has cut their healthcare.
But @TUGSA_6290 rejected a weak contract from Temple, with 92% voting no, and the strike continues.
A large number of undergrads came out to support striking @TUGSA_6290 workers today!
We will ALWAYS stand in solidarity with our RAs and TAs, and EVERY WORKER on this campus! #TempleUnionMade
