@carlvellotti I never share estimates with stakeholders - I keep the stakeholders closely updated so they feel continous progress- thats it. For me estimation is for the dialogue between the developers it is not a delieverydate for the stakeholders. If I am forced to share something it is x2/3
Kafka excels at handling real-time data streams, offering a reliable, distributed, and fault-tolerant solution.
However, it can take a long time to build even the simplest applications on top of Kafka.

@PatThePM because in practice there are more blind spots and more parties/stakeholders and stakes are higher - for sure there are further complications :)
@carlvellotti Good idea, we do focus on X right now in order to address y. (X and Y are better a magnitude more important than the thing I say "no to", if it is the other way around I consider saying yes instead.)
@JustAnotherPM I am not sure what I am - most likely an ambivert - for sure a bit shy but I do could stay alone for weeks without feeling bad with it - getting to know your self is hard ;)
