One key part of this disaster was the MCAS software failure. It's a perfect example of what not to do when creating software that's crucial for safety. Each mistake made in this story is a clear warning sign for anyone working on similar projects.

A company that was once praised for its top-notch engineering skills ended up being responsible for the deaths of 346 people. How did this happen?
https://t.co/dNPomnJVTX
Well, it boiled down to managers who cared more about their own bonuses and the company's stock prices than they did about quality.

@rauchg In other words you took the decision that Vercel will support only simple to medium complexity applications, in a more delivery-focused approach.
However there is still the need for more complex backbends (I faced this need already twice in 2024) which vercel was unable to serve.

The language used by these HR zombies gives me PTSD.
That’s what hell sounds like.
Hats off to Brittany for having the courage to record the sound of corporate jails.
Rising Trends: Graphical Representation of Increasing Volume and TVL on @SuiNetwork
🔹The $SUI network has grown significantly in the past few weeks, outpacing many other chains.
🔸The network continues to mature with increasing volume and usage, signaling confidence.
$SUI
Since storing images onchain with Solana inscriptions seems to be the cool new trend, it's important to note that it's been possible on Sui since Day 1 with a much better dev UX and zero hacky workarounds.
We just pushed a super simple smart contract for publishing onchain images:

Just use the create() method, and it creates an Image object like this:

Then, hit the rendering endpoint which reassembles the chunked base64-encoded strings.

Best of all, the cost to publish this ~130kb image was only 0.8 SUI, and the image is a fully native Sui object, which means it's composable with every other smart contract deployed on Sui.
According to Magic Eden, the approximate cost to inscribe the same image on Solana would be ~1 SOL, that's over 100x more expensive, and I'm not sure about the composability aspect.
Introducing: Big Vector
