The manager is now saying that we can book a standby ticket by paying the difference of our Mar 19 flight and the highest economy ticket price for tomorrow's flight. $1290 CAD per person with no guarantee we get a seat.

Absolutely astonished at @flyPAL for not allowing us to be standby (chance) passengers on earlier flight back to YYZ. Ticketing office refuse to rebook for Flight PR118 Mar. 15 - MNL to YYZ. Flight is overbooked by 3 economy passengers, there are 12 no shows. We need 3 seats!
