#BoxcarFire Update (SB I-15/Cajon Pass):

- Rate of spread on all 5 spot fires has been stopped.
- Total combined acreage is estimated to be 5 acres, with the largest spot, the most southern, estimated at 3-4 acres.

There are multiple fires on the shoulder of southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass. The fires are being contained by the fire department at the moment. The southbound #4 traffic lane will remain closed for emergency crews from Oak Hill Road to SR-138.

U.S. Forest Service firefighters are responding to multiple spot fires along southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass near Hwy 138.
