Terrisa Bukovinac

Progressive Pro-Life Atheist. She/Her. #JusticeForTheFive

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

Lauren handy and I discovered and held the #DCFive in our own hands and have seen with our own eyes who they were and the likely federal crimes committed against them. It has been a devastating experience. We will never give up our quest for #JusticeForTheFive

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

Update!!! The challenge to my petitions has been withdrawn! I will be on the ballot in New Jersey’s district 9 running for the US House of Representatives!

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

I’m still hopeful that a judge will rule in my favor as I turned in more than twice the necessary signatures for ballot access. It’s very hard to believe more than half were invalid. Hoping for a just outcome.

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

Update! It is the executive director of the NJ GOP challenging my signatures showing just how desperate the party is to bury the abortion issue in the midterms #NJPolitics

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

They’re coming after us because we could be the margin of defeat for establishment candidates in contentious races!

Breaking: my signatures for ballot access in New Jersey’s congressional district 9 have been challenged, as well as the two other New Jersey congressional independent pro-life candidates @randallterry and Austin Johnson.

This is a political witch hunt.

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

Unborn babies deserve a voice in this election and I will not stop fighting for them regardless of what happens at my hearing on Wednesday.

The Biden administration’s @TheJusticeDept aggressively weaponized the FACE Act to persecute pro-life protesters.

This is a new era for @CivilRights, and we will continue to fight against such weaponization.

[David Daleiden @daviddaleiden]

The new DOJ report about how @PPFA and @NatAbortionFed weaponized the agency against pro-life advocates is stunning—

It's the exact same playbook those NGOs used against me under @KamalaHarris.

Now DOJ must uncover the MOTIVE behind their weaponization: covering up infanticide

[Mary Margaret Olohan @MaryMargOlohan]

A major flag here: the chief legal and strategy officer for the @NatAbortionFed told Chip Roy that she had pretty much no influence over the Biden FACE Act prosecutions.

As this report shows - NAF was pivotal to those prosecutions.

🧵Lots of new follows over the holiday, so let me reintroduce my work:

I recorded the undercover videos that caught @PPFA's top leaders using partial-birth abortions to harvest and sell body parts from preemie-age babies—often to government-funded labs.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE!

@TheJusticeDept (DOJ) Civil Rights Division has been charged with investigating weaponization of the #DOJ during the Biden administration. A draft report of their findings was leaked to reporters at @MSNOWNews. Their article, published yesterday, states the Justice Department is likely to publicly release the report as early as next week.

On March 4, @Terrisalin, founder of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (@PAAUNOW), and Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue, met with the DOJ in #WashingtonDC and were provided access to unredacted DOJ materials, because the DOJ said the information references Terry by name and Bukovinac’s organization.

Bukovinac and Terry claim that the report contains damning evidence of collusion and unethical behavior between the DOJ and pro-abortion entities, including the National Abortion Federation (NAF). This includes evidence that Sanjay Patel, lead prosecutor, was in disproportionate and unethical contact with pro-abortion groups in order to prosecute #prolife activists. Meanwhile the more than 70 attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers in the months following the overturn of Roe v. Wade went almost entirely uninvestigated and unprosecuted.

The DOJ documents include an email from NAF inviting Patel to speak at their fundraiser, and another email in which Patel was helping NAF obtain a significant financial grant. Bukovinac and Terry also say that while Patel was providing detailed information to NAF upon request leading up to trial, when defendant Joan Andrews Bell asked for similar information she was told it wasn’t available.

In his communication with NAF, Patel was also allegedly suggesting ways to increase carceral punishment for pro-lifers engaged in peaceful activities, to create fear among pro-life activists.

The emails in the report also revealed that NAF sent an #undercover informant to infiltrate a PAAU meeting in 2023. During that meeting the informant made a recording of defendant Lauren Handy and gave the recording directly to the DOJ.

Lauren Handy was then director of activism for PAAU, and at the time she was being charged by #Biden’s Justice Department under the Freedom to Access Clinic Entrances Act (#FACEAct). The DOJ later used this recording against Handy in court, claiming she was in violation of the terms of her release.

The report also reportedly shows emails from Patel in which he discussed prosecuting two pro-abortion activists because he was concerned that his bias against pro-lifers was becoming too visible.

Bukovinac says the DOJ clarified to her that while the investigation began as an attempt to find what they perceive as anti-Christian bias, the report acknowledges that not all defendants are Christian, particularly PAAU’s founding board member Herb Geraghty, who is an atheist.

During the trial, Patel urged the judge to prevent Geraghty from sharing his atheism with the jury, claiming it would bias the jury in his favor.

Bukovinac, also an atheist, says, “Sanjay Patel has abused his power to viciously separate families and cover-up the real crimes happening at abortion centers across the country. He is a tool of Biden’s carceral oppression of nonviolent pro-life people, and failed to get even an iota of justice for the five victims of infanticide these activists sought to protect. Patel should be fired, prosecuted, and publicly shamed for his crimes.”

Terry says, “MS Now is seeking to exonerate the extensive record of Patel’s unethical behavior. The evidence against him was overwhelming and chilling. The DOJ - led by Sanjay Patel - was used to smash the lives of peaceful protestors who dared to intervene on behalf of innocent babies. The DOJ literally became the henchmen of the child killers, and MS Now (Formerly #MSNBC) is once again their propaganda machine.”

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

MSNOW going full in on colluding with the abortion industry with this puff piece on violent oppressor Sanjay Patel.

This man is responsible for ripping families apart and protecting the interests of a literal child killing machine!

Thank you Rep Moore for recognizing our important discovery of the DC Five. Four years is too long for Justice.

Our voices are required of us to speak up. All of us, together. Let us never stop calling & laboring for justice! #JusticeForTheFive

I have been fighting for justice for the DC 5 since I was elected to Congress.

Last year, I asked @AGPamBondi to commit to working with me to conduct a full and fair investigation into the deaths of these children and to ensure that justice is served for the DC 5.

[Terrisa Bukovinac @Terrisalin]

Thank you @RepRileyMoore !!

[Rep. Riley M. Moore @RepRileyMoore]

Four years ago today, pro-life activists discovered the remains of 115 aborted babies outside a D.C. abortion clinic. Among these children were 5 fully developed children, some as old as 32 weeks.

Today, we remember them and continue to demand justice for the Five.
