There is a bipartisan bill proposed by Josh Hawley and Elizabeth Warren called the Breakup Big Medicine Bill.

I asked James one question. When you are elected — I didn't say if, I said when you are elected — will you co-sponsor the Breakup Big Medicine Bill? Because that is key. If we can break up those big companies — the CVSs, the United, etc. — we literally could see the cost of pharmaceuticals and healthcare literally drop overnight.

James said yes. So here I am — and we are going to break up Big Medicine.

yo this is fucking insane. i’m on a united flight that’s half full and we’re all crammed in the back half while the front half (the same seats but with a couple extra inches of leg room that they charge $50 for) is empty. they just got on to tell us takeoff is delayed bc the plane isn’t balanced and they need to move bags to the front. BAGS. they could easily move PEOPLE to the front & let everyone have a better experience, but they’d rather punish people for not paying the upcharge.

I spent the time. I put my name and credibility on the line to write a factual, honest argument for the Yes side of the voters' pamphlet because that's what voters deserve.

The No side? Their rebuttal tells voters that future income tax changes would go to the ballot. That's a lie. A legislature can enact or expand an income tax with a floor vote and a governor's signature. No ballot required.

The Secretary of State's office: "We do not verify arguments for truth or fact."

So the pamphlet mailed to every registered voter in Washington will print whatever the union-funded No campaign wants to say. No fact-check. No accountability. Just continued trickery and deceit to ram through their unconstitutional law.

Vote yes to stop the tax.

State of Washington is investigating We Heart Seattle for picking up the needles and fentanyl foil they hand out.

For six years we’ve removed hundreds of thousands of pieces of used drug paraphernalia from Seattle parks, greenbelts, and neighborhoods, the exact litter created by government-funded distribution programs.

Now L&I is investigating us for “improperly” collecting the same needles and foil that officials freely distribute and then leave for communities to deal with. This bureaucratic overreach will drain time and resources meant for cleanups and outreach.

Seattle Councilwoman Juarez: "I see a complete lack of leadership and for us, a 'No Confidence' in this administration...I'll say it again on the record; I don't think that this mayor has made the transition from activist, to campaign, to Mayor Wilson."

Seattle Council President Hollingsworth: "I believe this decision to ask a police chief to resign, or to let him go, is irresponsible and a tad bit reckless, and put's us in a very difficult position as a city."

Seattle Councilwoman Rivera: "It is unacceptable for this amount of time to occur without confirmation from her office, as to whether or not we are indeed going to have Chief Barnes as police chief, or what the plan is if he is not going to be."

Seattle Councilman Saka: "I am personally disappointed and deeply concerned with the Mayor's decision to remove a police chief in this time."

The only thing City of Seattle has done lately that people felt good about was the World Cup. Ironically, because they were forced to do the opposite of what they do every day. Celebrate America, turn on public safety tools, remove encampments, and clean the streets. Everything else is a disaster. Goes to show that with leadership willing to do the opposite of Katie Wilson, Seattle can be great. People outside the city don’t hate the city, they hate its socialist policies ruining it.

Seattle's Pike Place Market based Beecher's Handmaid Cheese will be opening a 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility...

In Wisconsin.

No comment on why they didn't choose to open their first large manufacturing plant in their home state, but;
One can imagine 'costs' of opening such a facility here were probably top of the list, and it follows numerous other manufacturing companies expanding everywhere else but Washington state.

Not only does repealing the income tax not cut revenue (because the revenue doesn’t even exist yet so it cannot be cut), repealing the income tax will actually save taxpayers money that has been set aside to hire a permanent WA state IRS as well as the legal fees set aside to defend this unconstitutional tax, both of which will no longer be needed.

So Vote Yes. Repeal the income tax and save the state hundreds of millions of dollars….

Oh yea, and when was the last time WA State ever cut its budgets? Never? Yeah that’s what i thought.
