I understand why a lot of people in my timeline are shouting "it's rarer than blood clots in women who take oral contraceptives" but also we have that risk data drilled into us when we are prescribed birth control. This is a new risk that women should know about.

Re: Johnson & Johnson: it's good to know the risk of clot is extremely low. It's also understandable to be concerned, especially if you're a woman under 50. The CDC says to look for these symptoms within 3 weeks: severe headaches, abdominal pain, leg pain or shortness of breath.
