Interesting that Carter gets little credit for his work in deregulation today. Reagan, who continued and expanded the work, is much more associated with it. I think the modern Dem party is reluctant to be linked with the effort while Republicans want the credit to go to Reagan.
I gotta admit being a millennial is really confusing right now. I did not expect we would be the best at seeing through disinfo & not getting radicalized
The 50 biggest donors this election cycle have collectively donated over $2.5 billion.
The vast majority of donations have gone to super PACs, which can accept unlimited sums of money.
Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.

“Art Nouveau is when it looks made by elves.
Art Deco is when it looks made by dwarves.”
And after looking into it, I think they’re a genius and 100% correct.
Islamists fear nothing more than a vocal Iraninan telling the TRUTH about the Middle East.
This is the real story of the Islamic Republic of Iran as told by 6 Iranian-Americans, unfiltered and with a stark warning for America.

Median voter: Inflation is my number one issue. To fix it, I want the US government to raise taxes on 1/3 of everything I buy and kick off a massive trade war with our closest allies.
I know everyone is obsessed about Taylor Swift's endorsement, but if @jasonsudeikis would hit the campaign trail with Coach Walz as Ted Lasso, this thing would be over.
The Arcane Texas Fact of the Day:
I see that Hereford and Andrews will be meeting for the first scrimmage of the 2024 football season tomorrow night at the historic Mustang Bowl in Andrews. Two storied programs. When I first heard that they were meeting at the Mustang Bowl I thought "why would they be meeting in Sweetwater, where the historic Mustang Bowl (built in 1939 by the CCC) is located?" It took me a second to remember that there are actually TWO high school stadiums in Texas called the Mustang Bowl, the one in Sweetwater and the one in Andrews. The Mustang Bowl in Andrews is newer than the Mustang Bowl in Sweetwater, having opened in 1957. The Mustang Bowl in Andrews is slightly larger than the Mustang Bowl in Sweetwater, seating 8088 vs. 6471, but both are among the best places to watch high school football in the state of Texas. Both have been very well maintained and upgraded over the years. The Mustang Bowl in Sweetwater, with its CCC origins, is particularly picturesque. I hope to visit both with my camera when the weather cools down.
