@MarcusCVance I need to actually use my pre-writing skills. My ADHD brain jumps right into a new story, gets ~1/4 of the way in, then gets hung up on 1 tiny plot detail, then shuts the whole thing down for months at a time.

@NML_dc @chrisbulock @tressiemcphd My parents were the same. Even if I invited them out to dinner, they insisted on paying. They finally agreed after years to let me leave the tip. Either they raised him to be a skinflint, or they have no idea about his control issues. And IMO that's what this is.

Honestly? None. I write in the genres I like (romance, SFF, non-fiction) and have no desire to branch out. I believe readers know when your heart isn't in it, and any other genres would just more or less be writing exercises & not something I'd enjoy. #SmoreWords

D9 Transition scenes are the bane of my existence! I'm bit on fade to black and pick it up the next day for the next chapter/scene start. Sometimes, it does get a bit awkward.
