UCC is not “Hindu law” imposed on non-Hindus. Article 44 itself directs the State to endeavour to secure a UCC.

Why should citizens have different personal laws simply because of their religion?

UCC is about equal citizenship, equal rights and equal justice, not targeting Muslims.
