Unpopular opinion: Developers should not push back on their time being measured.
However, it is the leadership's responsibility to create and nurture a team culture where the developers would welcome such measures!
We kicked off our first DevX Community meet-up of 2023 ๐
A huge thank you to our community member, Ankit, for bringing this topic on measuring developer productivity forward and to everyone included in the discussion!

Wanna learn how #Elixir, #Erlang and #BEAM can help you help solve some of the challenges of Federated Machine Learning?
Watch @thankrandomness's talk "Smashing the Data Bottleneck with Federated Machine Learning on the BEAM" from #CodeBEAM Europe 2022

@jeremylewi@takasehideki Nothing particular. Federated Learning inherently being a distributed system from a software engineering perspective, the idea was to leverage the power of BEAM in this setting and compare with some of the existing FL systems.
attending #CodeBEAM from Tokyo remotely. The most impressive talk for me yesterday was Federated Machine Learning on BEAM by @thankrandomness
I'm following the details by reviewing the archived video (too convenient, thanks for publishing them for participants so quickly :D
@sqs@sourcegraph I do. Not sure if it'd, but I'm hoping this would help me in navigating my way through in exploring large open source codebases on GitHub. Ex: https://t.co/YYbrmjyVUJ
