@BRICSinfo You can't kill an idea. Ayatollah was killed because the US thought it'd create an Iranian uprising and topple the government, but it instead united them; there'll be no uprising. The US has walked into a trap; US/Israel's goals require total victory, Iran needs only to survive.
@EpochTimes There are 331.9 million people in the country and more guns than people, but yet there have been only 44339 gun violence related deaths and > 50% are suicides; most gun violence is done with pistols and mass shootings w/ assault rifles are only 7% of the 21028 non-suicides.

@davidhogg111 The majority of gun owners are not shooting up schools or murdering innocent people; we should have background checks, mandatory gun safes, gun owner's liability, et cetera, but the bans on spooky-looking semi-auto rifles and the restrictions on magazines are a no-go.
@Sirwaffleman1 @DavidBa46670863 @filosophy424@PatrickGuiett@RealBetyCardens@GavinNewsom@NRA@GOP@cnnbrk He is probably referring to the IRS who can, if you do not pay your taxes, deploy a group of armed thugs to "legally" steal and sell your property in order to make up what you owed them; it's done only in the worst cases, for there'd be war if they went around doing it casually.
@GavinNewsom@NRA@GOP@cnnbrk I don't have an issue with gun safety laws; for example, I support mandatory gun safes, red flag laws (if false reports are accounted for), reasonable waiting periods, background checks, psych evals, et cetera. I just do not support restrictions on gun models, magazines, or ammo.
@krassenstein It's declining mental health, plain and simple; the countries that don't have these shootings also have universal healthcare, 60% of their population NOT living paycheck to paycheck, affordable college/housing, etc. The issue is that ppl here justifiably lack hope for the future.

@ianhamilton_@SandwichExplor1@Muckle_Gype@DC_Draino@davidhogg111 Correlation is not causation. They have universal health care, 60% of their population is NOT living paycheck to paycheck, they've affordable college/housing, etc; only a moron could look at the USA and not get what's really driving these shootings - hint: it's not the damn guns.
@Spicy_Chai4u@KICKAHA2577@JasonSCampbell It's pretty stupid, not gonna lie; there are plenty of common sense laws that would great reduce casualties, but instead we're running in place because the republican representatives are advocating for no rules at all while the democratic representatives want total confiscation.
@Spicy_Chai4u@KICKAHA2577@JasonSCampbell Also, I think that gun courses should be required to teach gun owners how to operate in the event of a crisis; communication is an absolute must in such circumstances if you want to avoid friendly fire and collateral damage.
@SavvySpark@bobcesca_go@michaeljknowles The government could make the possession or transference of firearms illegal for the common citizen, exempting state and federal agencies along with the military; the end result is that the citizenry has insufficient leverage to deter tyranny and ensure the gov't serves them.
