@gdb First of all, let the consumer decide if it's better. It's not. I have a copy of my old stored memory spine located in the file library, the project files, and I dropped a copy in the chat: still doesn't remember basic stuff. Not sure why you'd think this is better for anybody.
@OpenAI This is an embarrassingly bad update. 10x harder to wrangle the little summary bot than it is to just save a legacy memory. I'm not sure who this serves exactly. My project summary is so bad I don't even know where to start. It's like starting from square one with my chat gpt.
Detroit’s Game seven loss, reminds us of the cruel duality that exists in sports. The Pistons had a successful season, but it’s OK to be disappointed with their performance in the biggest moment. Two things can be true at the same time.
@btibor91 I have specific subroutines saved like weekly or daily reminders, as well as context that informs the tone and output of the model saved in memories. All this would be nuked by this change. I'm not in favor of it.
@JimCosta_ Considering if they lost they'd be going down 3-2 and headed back to Cleveland, I'd say, yeah, they're in trouble. Cleveland figured out how to defend us it seems like.
