So, if we're not safe in there... behind closed doors... where they say they want us... we have no choice but to fight to make it safe everywhere, for all LGBT people.
@erinentrada The three body problem series by cixin liu, american war by omar el akkad, immobility by brian evenson, glitch by hugh howey, discordia by max berry (audible only)β¦the space between worlds by micaiah johnson (an all time fave of mine)
Gotta tell yβall a secret.
Lean in close.
Even with the pill bottle and other methods I use, I still occasionally get out of sync with my meds.
Itβs because I STILL HAVE ADHD.
ADHD is gonna ADHD. And that means my plans get thwarted occasionally
@jessejanderson Then thereβs also the compound guilt and shame of continually forgetting. Even if I remember to reach out to a certain friend who also has ADHD, she feels so guilty that she can't bring herself to respond before she forgets again.
As an IR student i hate to say it - we need to turn inward: focus on societal changes and take a break from providing as much financial support outward. What could 50bill actually go to in the US territories? Enlighten me.
America, please. Enough. We need to focus on the right to live: right to 1) life - sustenance and shelter; 2) body autonomy - except when OVERWHELMING possibility of death; 3) safety - if it can kill, we make EXHAUSTIVE efforts to prevent killing.
Cater to the folks who need rules - not those who do not. Assuming we are all safe in 2022 is gross negligence. Maybe we can return to more leniency - now its clearly mot working. FOUR SHOOTINGS IN THREE WEEKS (at the least!) and how many didnβt make the the national news??
Minimum no cost medical and shelter provisions, please! No, adoption is not always safe. Yes, medical debt can be accrued even with insurance. No, debt is not a reflection of financial knowledge. A 4th right: to education, would be another talk for another day
