@nopp1e@centralNRL I just would like to clarify. Are you saying it is acceptable to throw objects at referees because you don't agree with their decision? Do you think this behaviour will encourage young people to want to become a referee?
@CPL@AntiguaFalcons@windiescricket@republicbanktt Congratulations Falcons. A wonderful win and great early birthday present for Sir Curtly Ambrose (though in Australia it was the 21st when the Falcons won). Franchise cricket can be magnificent.
@NRL Josh Papalii will be missed. He is not just a Raiders but also a Queenslander & Australian legend. He will be missed. I wish him all the best with the next chapter of his life.
@BeeAwake1 Casey Curtis is a true hero. The children being trapped in the SUV and then knowing their mother was still inside would have been horrific but thanks to Casey this family is all safe. Bless them all and thank you Casey for proving there is still great people in the world. 🤗
An 11-year-old girl was kidnapped while walking home from her school bus and forced into the back seat of a blue Honda.
Hours later, Amanda Disley and Benny Correa were driving with their five children when they looked over and realized that exact car was right beside them.
Amanda called 911 while Benny followed the Honda through traffic as police tried to close in.
The driver started speeding through red lights and side streets, but Benny stayed with him while Amanda kept updating dispatch with their location.
Eventually, officers boxed the Honda in and found Charlotte inside.
She was pulled from the car alive and reunited with her family because Amanda and Benny refused to lose sight of the car carrying her.
The driver, 24-year-old Miguel Rodriguez, was arrested and charged with kidnapping, assault with a dangerous weapon and witness intimidation.
Amanda and Benny didn’t know Charlotte. They just knew a little girl needed help, and they stayed with that car until she got it. 💙
@rickygervais Anyone who loves animals is my kind of person. Thank you from those who can’t use words to speak for themselves but show love and kindness in the best way.
@NRL To see the change in Jai’s face from intensity when he walked out of the dressing room to pure pleasure when he saw the @GCTitans team was beautiful to watch. Jai Arrow, you are a wonderful human loved by many and we stand with you. Bless you. @FOXNRL@SSFCRABBITOHS
@LeagueScenePod For me this is one of the greatest moments I have ever seen in rugby league. So many moving parts coming together to make this happen and such an emotional one. I don't know about Jai, his family and teammates but I needed a tissue (or 2).
