@nope_its_lily @luoxiaxia also seems that the incentive to scrape is lower because tweets are primarily short-form text, so easier to assume they can be parsed as such vs other forms of media. which makes it easier to store and/or derive value
@nope_its_lily @luoxiaxia would be interesting to know what these anomalous scraping patterns look like / if they differ from other instances of high-volume scraping. i’d guess volume of tweet creation is higher and more frequent, requiring additional burden vs “slower” forms of posting (FB, IG, YT, etc)
@ped ahh yeah, not sure if there’s any good solution for that. previously used gboard before ios got swipe, but not sure if it’s any better for emoji these days. suppose you could just adopt typing `:wink` and let your recipients figure it out
