Top of search: 3,670 impressions, 34.6% conversion rate.
Product pages: 38,435 impressions, 13.9%.

Ten times the volume at 40% of the conversion rate. The shopper on somebody else's detail page never typed my keyword.

Amazon lets me raise my product pages bid by 900%. It will not let me lower it to zero.
