In this last week across England and Wales our community union has secured win after win for our members - 7 in 7 days!

In Brighton we secured a tenancy extension, full deposit return, and £3k in compensation for a member who had been served a S21 eviction notice✅

The @ScotFundCouncil also rejected our FOI request, citing concerns over "commercial interests" that they believe outweigh the public (student) interests regarding the income generated from Interntl Students and those in Uni Accom. during the pandemic. #ProfitBeforePeople

At what should be the legal "end" of our Freedom of Information campaign, of the 17 Universities, 3 have not yet answered within the legal timeframe, 13 have rejected our requests outright and only 1 has given us the information we asked for. #StudentsDeserveBetter
