The new 2025.44.25.1 software appears to have new visualizations. The auto HOV feature is a nice add.

Also, found one bug in the control menu showing an error with the center screen tilt since my build doesn’t have that capability.

Had this problem on a rental car and think it’s tied to a broken seat occupant sensor. Had to press the brakes before closing the door for car to know I was inside and phone to auto connect.

Confirmed. Waymo hid disengagement reporting to CA DMV as required by law.
This widely reported event occurred on Sept.27.2024.

It is not listed within the highly suspicious list of just (20) disengagements for California within the 2024 calendar year.
Waymo stripped the list down so far they didn’t even bother to catalog the most well known and obvious disengagement of the year.

@Cysong8816 Sorry misspoke. I meant from a stopped state not “park”. I.e. parked/stopped but in Drive. If parked in reverse or parallel parked, I just press the brake to auto engage drive and engage FSD.

@BobLonski Ashok has stated recently the car already goes through calibrations on its own. Camera calibration is more placebo. True calibration issues are usually consistent. The lane line issues people are complaining about in this version is more of a “feature” at this stage.
