I was just listening to this. Great talk, a lot of wisdom to learn from that applies to everyone, not just technical talk. @DemystifyEvents@CareySmolensky https://t.co/ZEIr0DQAAO
@drmoore@CTmagazine@BethMooreLPM Thank you for putting into words what I experienced internally many years ago. At the time my wife and I left our childhood denomination (after being involved in ministry) we were also leaving an ethnic church for an "American" one, so the cultural "de-mooring" was deeply felt.
@NIHDirector Thank you for all your hard work Dr. Collins. Your work ethic and your faith will continue to be an inspiration for me. Looking forward to hear what's next in your world.
@seandickard@PrestonSprinkle I second that. And actually the whole series (the original Ender Quintet). The first book is where the action is but the next ones are the philosophical ones (even though a bit slow in narrative). I loved Speaker for the Dead and I'm not apologizing for it.
@PrestonSprinkle Have you read these? Liked them not just because they're good fiction but also because they deal with faith.
Till We Have Faces - C.S. Lewis
Jayber Crow - Wendell Berry
Brothers Karamazov - Dostoievski
The Book of Strange New Things - Michel Faber
Wise Blood - Flannery O'Connor
Fifty years ago, humans took their first steps on the Moon. The world watched as we made history.
This week, you can watch us salute our #Apollo50th heroes and look forward to our next giant leap for future missions to the Moon and Mars. Tune in: https://t.co/b5Lp5zWLm1
