Hello !
You might just need this.
Please Read.
When you work with a leader or someone that stretches you beyond your comfort zone, and truly wants you to be a better version of yourself,
You have no idea what God is doing for you.
My late mentor, Pastor Eskor Mfon was never really
a professional musician per se, but was a great worshipper and one that had an ear for good music.
He would come into our choir room after we had spent hours rehearsing. He’d sit, cross His legs, rest his jaws on his palm, close his eyes and listen to what we had done. After a while, he’d shake his head, smile and heave an interesting sigh “aaaaahhhh !”, and then say to us “okay okay well done o, but we can’t give God this kind of worship tomorrow, let’s start again…” And believe me, another 2-3 hours of work…. He’d tell us, “you know we can’t take people to a place we have not been to ourselves…”
He would share scriptures, explain what ministry was all about, then sit with us as we slugged it out.
Anyway, those days would later become the foundation of my music ministry today.
Hmmm, There were days I thought “this stress is just too much” just to lead worship ??? But what did I know ? Poor boy ! My eyes opened one day, and I caught it.
The inheritance I got from him was not money and material things, even though he took good care of us. But the values, principles, work ethic, mind shift, wisdom, spiritual intelligence and understanding, emphasis on prayer, word, purity, integrity, character, excellence etc.
Today I honour him everywhere I go, because in hindsight, He was God sent - To a young man who only had talent, but with very little or no sense of direction.
So, to anyone out there, connecting with this post and perhaps in a similar place, I say receive GRACE to maximize the moment. Learn and glean all you can now, never despise the process, instead appreciate and honour it. For not everyone is privileged to have another man or woman who leave their own thing to sit on your matter, just to make sure you excel in life. It is a blessing !
And in case it appears to be taking longer than it should, may be, just maybe. you are cut out for the BIG TIME. And in no distant future we would be reading your own inspiring story.
But Please note ! Only make sure the person or leader is one that meets the criteria above - I.e, one who truly desires to see a better version of you and wants you to fulfill your prophetic destiny. And Not just one who seeks to hijack your life, control it and put in under lock and key.
Blessings
🙂
If you sit back and observe things keenly, you will see that hatred has never worked. Those you hate on will surely rise above you, provided they don't get caught in your bait. Hate as a strategy is destined to lose. Those who allow the waters of bitterness sip into their soul end up as losers. Haters are losers.
Rise above the temptation and embrace wisdom. It is a better way of getting things done. A sure and certain way to success.

In my Christian journey, I am learning that delayed obedience is disobedience. Doing so at my convenience is disobedience. Forgetting to do it and then doing it later is the same. So is deprioritizing it.
Maybe that is why busyness is such an enemy of the faith walk.
Sometimes, to get your full attention, God first destroys what you prioritized over him.
Experiencing betrayal is an integral part of leadership however don't focus all your energy on the person.
Learn and move on. Drop the issue and return to normalcy.
Don't let it become a PTSD issue where you view the future in the light of that single event.
Don't let that negativity spread to those God has truly sent to you. You may end up throwing stones at your helpers.
You have lost when the person now has a place in your thought life.

When I was a single mom, my car was breaking down, I needed to pay preschool tuition for my daughter so I could work, and I needed groceries. I had enough money in my account EITHER to fix my car OR to pay preschool tuition. If I bought groceries I wouldn't have enough for either thing. As we drove home from work I pulled into the Vons shopping center by our home and just sat in the car, half-praying and half-stressing about buying groceries and what to do about my bills on Monday if I did buy them.
My kids were in the backseat and as I sat there sort of frozen with anxiety my son, who was 7, started saying, "MOM. MOM! There is something in the seat POKING ME. MOM!" and then he started yelling "WHY IS THERE MONEY IN THE CAR?" I'm not kidding. The kid was yelling -- I snapped out of my brain fog and turned around from the driver's seat to see what he was yelling about. He was holding an envelope stuffed with cash. For some reason he thought "robbers" had hid money in our car and were coming back for it. LOL I love little kid assumptions.
Anyway, the cash amounted to exactly what I needed to get my car fixed, with enough left over for a week's worth of groceries. I sort of felt scared walking into the store to shop. I had no idea where the money had come from. In a daze, I got yogurt, chicken, milk, and some produce. I had a little money left over for whatever else we might need later in the week. I paid and drove home, and tried to explain to my kids why I kept crying and that, though I didn't understand it, God had heard my prayers.
Later we figured it out and I got a friend who lived 10 hours away to confess: about 6 months earlier she'd come to visit us. She had a strong impression she believed was from the Lord that she needed to give me a certain amount of money. But it was money I didn't need to spend right then. So she put it in an envelope and stuck it in the back pocket of my driver's seat and prayed that God would allow me to find it when I most needed to spend it. It sat there for 6 months until that day in the parking lot when, inexplicably, it started to "poke" my son's foot in a way he couldn't ignore and he found it.
I have so many stories like this from times of desperate need. I don't know why I'm ever afraid. I am sometimes. I am afraid about things. But with memories like this, I shouldn't be. Thank you for sharing this video, Melissa. It's lovely. And it reminding me of my own stories of unexpected blessing.
Home, again! Mission complete. I hope we glorified God, humanity, our families and our terrific teams a @NASA and @csa_asc. Time to share the good news!
When it comes to giving, the first thing most people think about is finances. But for many Christians, giving God their best thoughts, impulses, and powers is a lot harder to do than giving God their best financial gifts. I know this is true because there was a time when I never considered giving God my best thoughts, my best impulses, or my best powers. If you are to give God your best thoughts, you can’t entertain the devil’s worst thoughts.

The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.
This whole NASA Artemis II mission to the moon thingy got me thinking deeply about God.
If it weren't for His creation, science wouldn't exist. Because technically, science is just a study of what God created.
You just can't take our God out of the equation.
@OIuwatosin I completely agree. Basic prompt engineering is a necessary skill and anyone who wants to retain their critical thinking skills will need to master this, seeing that AI use isn’t going anywhere.
In a few years, there will be a significant mental/intellectual gap between people who ask AI to write for them, and people who write and tell AI to refine it for them.
If I’m having a tough conversation with you, it’s because I want you in my life and want you to tighten up so I can keep you in it. I’m not attacking you.
