@KayEyeTea @jakedirado Word. 2070SB is a sick monitor. Maybe I’ll try 120hz with vsync and see how it is. I think a tried that a while ago and it didn’t work well for me.

@KayEyeTea @jakedirado I play on 60hz and have no issues playing for long sessions. I play on a c520. Not sure if playing on a high end monitor makes a difference, but i don’t have any issues.

@KayEyeTea @jakedirado Do not use vsync. Use the crt at 60hz and you get the motion clarity. There’s some screen tearing that happens but it’s the best way to play imo. I also lag tested with the lossless adapter and this gets the closest to crt tv melee.

There has been talk lately about multiple top players taking a step back from Melee.

I get where they're coming from. Over the years, your passion can go down. The people you used to know or play with stop playing. You start finding other priorities.

I'm sorry to disappoint the haters, but I'm not quitting anytime soon. Why? Because I enjoy it. It's as simple as that.

I think if you're not enjoying it anymore or want to prioritize other things, that's perfectly fine. If you still love Melee and want to play, do it.

I'm still planning on going to most of the biggest tournaments this year, starting with Genesis. There is a lot to look forward to. Can't wait
