I cannot ignore the possibility that the questions we raised are being silenced.

We were there as journalists to ask questions about children's deaths, healthcare facilities and administrative accountability.

Questioning those in power is journalism. It should not become a reason for intimidation.

We declined.

At the same time, policemen repeatedly came to our hotels, asked for our IDs, addresses and other personal details, and repeatedly tried to contact us.
