@theCTO@bekacru@pierrecomputer@DAYTONA What could possibly go wrong from using Daytona runners with a tiny max size and a massive markup over the compute
@samlambert@jrysana We’ve been planetscale pg from day one but waiting for neki and a tad worried about how it’ll play on latency with our move to bare metal on latitude off AWS
@henrytdowling not that anti git it's a pretty good standard and will probably win from being everywhere, but do you know how many performance wins are just off by default in the git cli because "it might break other programs that read .git"
@kirtandopamine@github Unfortunately we can't opensource without being immediately eaten by a competitor (try forgejo if you want that tho) we do have GHA support in Beta
@yagiznizipli@X This is fascinating as it's historically just WebKit so no Temporal, but no Intl is a bit odd unless their fork is ancient or they're running a weird chopped up version where they ripped Intl out (or their ICU setup is cooked)
@zenohosting@jrysana@samlambert@gitcafe if it's compliance related entire might have it I definitely won't we just don't have the time to go through paperwork until the product stabilizes
@zenohosting@jrysana@samlambert@gitcafe We don't rely on github at all, we're rebuilding GHA from scratch to make migrations easier, we control our entire infra stack (I regret this often but much higher ceiling), we built it all in a fraction the time with a fraction the team and a fraction the funding of entire.
@zenohosting@jrysana@samlambert I mean I personally have to shill since I make @gitcafe but we're just entering public beta, so maybe not the best choice but hey probably still more stable then GitHub
@samlambert@jrysana pretty sure pierre doesn't count since it's not a forge anymore, and entire still requires a github account but hey PlanetScale is still great
