As much as I dislike fiat, stablecoin is a necessary evil we need to transition into an open decentralised reserve currency/asset.

Don't just dismiss algorithm stablecoin just yet. I believe to have a fair and open stablecoin, going algorithmic is the best path forward.

Second best imo would be digital currency issued by central governments.
