$PDD's Temu has experienced significant growth in 2023. 📈
Monthly GMV increased from $141m in December 2022 to $1,000m in June 2023. ✈️
While I don't like Pinduoduo, I do like that PayPal $PYPL is the first payment option that pops up on the platform.
PayPal will benefit from Temu's growth. 🐂
When prices are this low, #natgas traders should change their primary mental model from odds of the next move’s direction, to the potential sizes of the moves. That’s because the payoff asymmetry is now enormous.

Surely mine was all crazy talk - I was told $600bn is the New Normal
Plus, Janet agreed she wouldn’t jam it - I mean they *pinky promised* not to do that in the debt ceiling suspension agreement, it’s all right there! Scoundrels!

Delinquency rate of commercial mortgages on office properties (securitized into CMBS) spiked to 5.6% in September.
Tripled so far this year, from a delinquency rate of 1.6% in December.. 🤯
The cycle during the GFC, when delinquency rates eventually exceeded 10% in 2012 and 2013, started more slowly and proceeded more slowly than this cycle.
This is a ferocious deterioration.

A whole rotisserie chicken for $7.50 is a miracle of capitalism. It's most of a day's calories for 30 minutes of minimum wage. It's delicious. It goes with everything. It comes hot, but you can eat it cold. Incredible.
This is a non answer. I challenged you publicly because you publicly quote tweeted and agreed with that dogshit vice article. If you’re really serious about what you stand for, you now have a massive opportunity for a debate that will reach the largest audience a discussion like this has ever had. If you think someone else is better qualified, suggest that person.
The Statue of David is perhaps the most perfect work of art ever created, and yet it was carved from a rejected block of marble.
This is the story of the Renaissance masterpiece 🧵
A European Retailer with a one-off year of bad FCF (during a relatively wild year and still producing 8%+ FCF yield) has been hammered. Normalized FCF is near $200m a year with a sub $1billion market cap. You tell me if markets are efficient? Any guesses on the stock?
Global Gas Demand has been much worse than I expected (and I thought it would be bad). The one positive for those betting on higher NG prices is storages being full come next winter is irrelevant and low prices now might encourage less infrastructure until it's too late
