China's Minister of Defence is running out the clock on Taiwan, quasi-filibustering, and using predictably strong language against "DPP separatists". Interesting comparison to @SecDef's speech yesterday that clearly tried to dial down security tensions with PRC. #SLD24

Short 🧵: After three years of waiting, some of the first concrete ideas of what might be in the upcoming IPS. On a first blush, there are some positive areas: esp. the Shared Ocean Fund, the Indo-Pacific Engagement Initiative (if spent well), the SEED scholarship, etc.
