@RainaAudron I played Tunic when it came out originally on Steam, but did get a physical Switch version through Fangamer when it came out. It was cool, it had the manual and everything, just like the one from in the game. I wish more games did that.
@bryan_johnson I'm not a scientist, but as a person who has a mom that is dealing with both at the moment, I'm going to assume there are some flaws in this study.
@yano_gamedev I think the “Estus Flask” system that the Dark Souls games popularized really addresses this problem very effectively. You get get a certain amount of uses which increases through progression. Use as many as you need until you run out, then refill them at a bonfire.
@mattvanswol The thing about the constitution is it can change. There was an amendment creating prohibition, then we got rid of it later. Nothing is set in stone. All of this is made up. If a law does something that is later found to be a problem, create a new law to change that part.
@MoMohler A lot of restaurants have fish and chips, but that’s about all I can think of. And rarely do you go a restaurant for that specifically. You might get it if other options are less appealing in the moment.
@pine18361 I watched episode 2 last night, and this actress basically carried the episode, which is saying something considering its also when they introduce Toph. She was so good, I hope she gets more roles. She actually made me realize what the point of live action IS, to convey emotion.
@privaz3tte This is an example of the exact format every recruiter and resume writer tell you to avoid. This is the opposite of what you want becuase an ATS system would score it very low or reject it. Which means this person’s resume is likely just performative and not actually functional.
@__shiningstarr It speaks to bad impulse control and decision making ability. The same way when a CEO of a company gets caught on camera cheating on his wife. There’s no law against it, but it shows that the person is bad at making decisions, and shouldn’t be in charge of other people or assets.
@Asmon_Updates You can go to prestigious Ivy League universities for tens of thousands of dollars per semester and not get a better political science lecture, and he’s doing it for free.
@antibearthesis Look at the behavior of nearly every big company to IPO in the last 20 years. This is very common. It IPOs big. A lot of people who held that stock before it went public sell off some of the stock to make a profit. Then it dips to a price regular investors want to buy it at.
@clemmygames I really liked this game. It came out early last year and I feel like it just got overshadowed by all the other great games that came out shortly after this one did. It’s really worth a play through.
@Kristinartz We did this for all of our text books. The reason was each year you would reuse the same text books some other students got from the prior 5-10 years. It was to keep them a little more protected, because you’d naturally want to draw and write all over them.
@JuiceMan_V The lack of conversation about a game doesn’t mean it’s bad or not well received. I’d say the opposite actually. You didn’t really see anyone complain about it either. It was a great game. I really liked it. I do t know anyone who didn’t. But you play it once and that’s kinda it.
