Big Fish in ACB net

ACB raids uncovers assets worth ₹3.2 crores linked to Tahsildar(MRO) in Karimnagar.

Markala Rajani, Tahsildar and Joint Sub-registrar of Jammikunta Mandal, Karimnagar, booked by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for acquiring assets through corrupt practices.

ACB conducted raids on Wednesday at Rajani's house and five other places belonging to her relatives, associates and benami houses.

ACB found

Net Cash of ₹1.5 lakh

Bank balance ₹25.7 lakh

Gold ornaments weighing 1462 grams

House hold articles worth ₹9 lakhs

Vehicles worth ₹31 lakhs

7 Acres of Agricultural land worth ₹55 lakhs

22 Open plot documents worth ₹21 lakhs

Documents of advance payment agreements were found for the purchase of three properties worth ₹50 lakhs

The market value is expected to be much Higher than the official value.

ACB stated that total assets are estimated to be about ₹3,20,16,915.
