🛡️ Fully Homomorphic Encryption: Just a short while ago, the idea of developers blending private and transparent data on-chain with Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) was purely futuristic. Now, that capability is a reality. Although FHE is still evolving, its remarkable progress in enabling this mix is undeniable. @zama_fhe @fhenix

🌍 Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN): Emerging projects are weaving the physical with the digital, creating real-world infrastructure for computation, connectivity, activations, authenticity of goods, etc. The bridge between Web2 & Infra & Web3 is being built, as we speak. @item_systems @akashnet

🚀 L2s and Sidechains: The quest for scalability+interoperability continues with optimistic and ZK tech at the forefront, addressing Ethereum's high fees and scalability challenges. This is something that will go on, for quite a while. @arbitrum @zksync @Optimism @LineaBuild @Neo_Blockchain and NeoX EVM-compatible sidechain.

We try to listen and exchange ideas with other people who have strong #DevEx goals in mind. We try to do this in all ecosystems, mainly among public chains.

So... our team develops blockchain dev tools to enhance #DeveloperExperience to the masses. We love to "spoil" developers. 😅

Among the stuff we've done, we developed neow3j (https://t.co/gMmOK8mhal) which is a compiler/transpiler from Java/Kotlin to NeoVM (@Neo_Blockchain). It's been used by DeFi dApps and large exchanges (e.g., Binance).
Also, for example, @coz_official, has developed Python compiler/transpiler -- in a similar way that @Algorand is developing. About Golang, @neospcc has done an amazing job with bringing Golang-compatible smart contracts to NeoVM. Not even mentioning debuggers and VSCode extensions, which were also integrated into ALL these tools.

We're not writing this to sell anything. No! 👇

Instead, we took the freedom to openly start a dialogue and learn from one another. #Blockchain ecosystems need this -- otherwise we'll stumble across the same mistakes again and again, instead of progressing as an industry.

@JohnAlanWoods With that said, our initial questions/comments are:
1) How would you guys deal with ecosystem fragmentation and maintenance of all these language-specific tools over time? In our experience, it's a lot of work that needs continuous support. Would you maintain native libs (doing the heavy lifting) that would be wrapped to language-specific SDKs + compiler/transpiler frontends?
2) IDE support is wild -- from language servers to plugins -- having a productive integration to IDEs (that is fast, feature complete, etc), is something feasible but def. not trivial. Are you planning to support specific IDEs? Or do you believe in diversity?
3) Can you provide some words about designing a high-level programming language, as a subset of an existing language (e.g., Python/Kotlin/Go)? Is this something you guys thought about, and why you decided to NOT go in this direction?

This is a minor release fixing an issue related to the caching of smart contracts code. 😺

No breaking changes, but we recommend updating. You can easily spend hours and hours #yakshaving without knowing why your compiled smart contract doesn't get updated after source changes... 😅
