Maybe at a yard sale or consignment shop where the original owner is on some type of record to be paid when their item sells.
At a thrift store it would never get to the person who donated the purse.
I found $100 bill in a jacket pocket once, too bad it was my own winter coat from years ago. 😂 The fact I lost it in the first place doesn’t help
