What's a viable alternative to the regime of #reservation, sc/st act, and #UGC system of inequalities?

Creation of #EqualityZones across the country. How will those zones function? Locally administered equality, merit, universal free education, minimum economic support program for all, but no #reservation, no sc/st act, no #ugc inequalities. Everyone welcome to join those zones.

Those who opt out can live in the current system of divide and rule.

Gradually the whole country will opt for equality.

It's a crime against the students themselves to push them into IIT or any other educational institutions by lowering the entry requirements due to reservation system. That's the culprit. And politicians have created this system for votes. The support system should be in making resources available to all, minimum wages for all, unemployment support for all, free education upto 12 th standard for all, school infrastructure upgradation, eligible teachers in schools...

That's what is required. Not a misty eyed, misplaced pity filled, discriminatory policy making.

In 1904, Ernest Rutherford gave a lecture about radioactivity, and Lord Kelvin was sitting in the audience.

Kelvin had earlier tried to estimate Earth’s age by calculating how long a hot Earth would take to cool. The problem was that his calculation did not include any extra source of heat inside Earth.

Rutherford explained that radioactive elements naturally release heat as they decay, so Earth could stay warm for much longer than Kelvin had assumed.

Rutherford later joked that Kelvin had fallen asleep during the talk, but woke up just as he reached this important point.

The story is a nice reminder that sometimes a calculation is correct, but its assumptions are incomplete.

This crisis has multiple reasons:
1. Distrust caused in society by the political class by fanning the hatred against the 'different' caste
2. Flawed laws fundamentally seeded with inequalities
3. Promise of compensation before any guilt is established has weaponized the law because somebody's word, if from a specific caste, is considered gospel truth.
4. Courts of law are scared of taking a morally upright stand of 'innocent until proven guilty.'
5. Any constitutional framework stands on the moral foundation of truth, equality, justice. That framework has been broken in India. Even a cursory reveals the glaring flaws.

When a new constitution adopted and a new Republic formed, it's foundation has to be equality by law. It cannot be based on fulfilling some atrocity literature triggered vengeance framework of unfair laws like SC/ST act, UGC Regulations, and Reservations.

The Republic will collapse if such laws continue.
