@DangerBongo Sometimes a story doesn't have to be about being a badass or godlike. Sometimes it's a nice break and welcome interlude to have some more relatable stories and themes - like helping a friend or found family. I loved it. It's a shame some can't appreciate it.

@DangerBongo I have a feeling DT slander is going to become the new Stormblood slander. I enjoyed both a lot. Without spoiling anything, the themes in DT had me weeping more than I did in EW. A lot of them are very human and very relatable.

Two days ago, on June 8th, my husband, Ben Potter, passed away in an unfortunate accident.

To many of you, he was Comicstorian, voicing stories from across multiple different mediums. To his loved ones, he was one of the best and most supportive individuals anyone could ask for. As a husband, a son, a brother, a friend, or even just a stranger, Ben was loving and genuine. He was someone who would listen and make time for his loved ones. He would do his best to make everyone laugh and make sure they were okay. He was our rock and he'd reassure his loved ones whenever they needed it.

He was my world and I need time to be with friends and family. I have so many things I need to figure out but firstly, I need to grieve. I ask that you respect my privacy as well as everyone else's. Right now my priority is preserving everything he's built and I don't have any plans beyond that.

His channel was one of his greatest accomplishments, and while we all need our time to mourn him, I know he wouldn't want it to end like this.

Ben spent over 10 years spreading his love and appreciation for his hobbies. It was through his love of exciting stories and well written characters that got him started on YouTube.

The team and I want to keep that going. To honor him by continuing to tell great stories by great people, as well as to keep the memory of our very own superhero alive.

We supported each other on everything we wanted to do and I'm not about to stop now.

@kelsadillattv I'm so sorry you went through this. I tried to be supportive and friendly to him since HS while being rebuffed and couldn't understand why. Being recently diagnosed as ND... it makes more sense now. Proud of everyone speaking up, I believe all of you.

@hijonimdad I'm mostly an outsider because every time I've tried to be friends or support people I've known offline since HS from this circle, I've been rebuffed with no idea why. Figuring out that I'm ND about a year ago and seeing people's stories now, it makes sense. I hope you grow.

@FTBiscuitGames As someone who didn't know they were ND until about a year ago, I knew him IRL and consistently tried to support his endeavors because I wanted to be friends. Only realizing I kept feeling rebuffed and treated dismissively because I might have seemed "off" to him.

@shatnerpants247 @Toke_a_Lot @cbsaustin There's such a thing as preventative measures and allotting funds for them. How do you think, outside of winterizing their grids, places that get actual blizzards aren't constantly out of power when storms hit? They do preventative trimming of tree limbs near power lines, etc.
