What happened in the Portugal vs. Croatia game today was one of the most obvious World Cup match fixing dramas you could ever watch.

Imagine Portugal were losing to Croatia, who had an amazing second half and completely dominated the start of it. It got so bad that Roberto Martínez didn’t know what to do, and it looked like the game was slipping away from him.

Then Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equalizer, but it was ruled out because he was offside by the smallest of margins.

Martínez completely lost it. He took off Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha, and João Cancelo, then brought on Gonçalo Ramos to play alongside Ronaldo as a second striker.

Portugal then won a penalty, and Ronaldo scored it. Martínez went even more defensive after that, taking Ronaldo off and bringing on Rúben Neves to add more balance in midfield.

Then, in the 94th minute, Gonçalo Ramos scored the winning goal. Croatia thought they had equalized in the 103rd minute, but the goal was ruled out for offside that only the referee and var room saw.

Portugal held on to win.

The referee and FIFA were on Cristiano Ronaldo’s side today. Football was really kind to him. ❤️
