As @naval says: Life is a single-player game. It's all happening inside your head. The good thing? All the in-game items are free, they're called thoughts.
Laziness is a vice. It must stop for he who wants to make something out of this life experience. Laziness = Death. Industriousness = Life. Choose life.
Measure yourself based on the inputs, not the outputs. If the inputs are not producing the outputs change the inputs, but don't attach your worth to the outputs.
It would be a shame if you miss your current life while chasing your future life. It's like when you go in a car trip. You still going somewhere, but you also enjoy the view.
This might sound hippie but actually everything you see exist because of love. People work because of love of their children. Things exist because of love. (I know, maybe unreal, but what if it were real)
