If so, isn't it a bit of generalising to assume all Asians do well in these? And to actually deduct points, rather than add more to those others, well thats just hateful.

Historically, Han Chinese were only allowed 1 where Uyghurs and other minorities had no restrictions on births. So typically they would have 2+.

Now the policy is 2 for everyone. Couple this with better employment prospects.
