Today, we’re announcing the preview release of ty, an extremely fast type checker and language server for Python, written in Rust.
In early testing, it's 10x, 50x, even 100x faster than existing type checkers. (We've seen >600x speed-ups over Mypy in some real-world projects.)
Change of scenery today, working from the kitchen ☕
Writing a blog post on how you can build an event-driven serverless application that integrates with ChatGPT and DALL-E ❤️🚀
@vueling We are a little cross 👹 We purchased tickets from BA for Bilbao. At checkin we were told we were bumped. This is really poor. Any explanation for this ?
I'm drafting this blog post now, and a friend (who kindly reviewed the draft) asked if others have shared their "workflow execution system" architecture before.
Does anyone know of any? Similar vibes would be @zapier, @SlackEng, @tines_io.

While it's difficult, I'm enjoying trying to put into words a lot of the design decisions we made implicitly during a project at @incident_io.
It's cool to connect the dots from things we care about - customer experience, dev productivity, robustness - to how we wrote the code.
Sophie kindly extended her kitchen to @HaslemereFringe and provided disco heaven delight. That was pure joy 🤩❤️…and will be having Murder on the Dancefloor (captured by my wife) on repeat for a very extended time 😂 Huge, huge thanks 🙏 @SophieEB
