One of the most highly influential neuroscientists of our generation: @hubermanlab
In 2022, Andrew recorded a podcast on The Science of Setting & Achieving Goals.
And with 10 actionable tools he defied the laws of conventional goal theory.
Here's a breakdown of each one:
Unpopular Opinion:
I used to follow 2-3 newsletters.
Now I’m subscribed to 20.
The goal is 100.

When someone doesn't match your level of integrity – you don't take it personally.
It's not your problem that they lack integrity.
They simply do you.. a favor.
The sooner you can find out someone is not a candidate to be a part of your life the better off you're going to be.
If you look at the world and wherever you go, like everyone has the potential to be a friend of yours – you can meet people wherever you are.
It's all how you look at it.

Useful statistics:
81% of shoppers research online before purchasing.
And 40% of those start with a Google search.
And 100% of those searches use keywords to determine if your website appears on the results page.
It's important as ever to name your business correctly.
When you name your business, simple is always better.
Make it:
1. Easy to spell
2. Easy for SEO
3. Easy to pronounce
4. Easy to remember
5. Have a defining characteristic
Also, act as if you were looking for a job.
What company (or tribe) do you want to be a part of?
@LeadAuthentic Love this John.
Just be a good example for humanity.
Everyone is going through some sort of pain.
To be a hero is to be the one who can guide people through that pain with ultimate compassion.
@SuperpowerQueen I agree.
It's finding passion and belief.
That energy and excitement to continue to work towards a goal despite it's sufferings knowing that each day pursued, is one step closer to the fulfillment of said goal.
@ionastros Like I say to everyone.
A movie without a purpose is boring to watch.
For example: LOTR purpose was to destroy the ring at mount doom.
If the purpose of a movie was to pickup a suitcase on a train it would be boring.
You have to introduce some type of dramatic conflict.

What company (or tribe) do you want to be a part of?
@SystemSunday Love this Ben. Especially the part where you don't eat too much food.
I myself only have a strategy that's worked for years.
Eat under 700 calories until supper.
That's it.
I am free to finish the rest of my days calories after 4pm every day.
@VitalyStakhov Finding the big why behind what you're doing is extremely critical.
You ever watch a movie or series and you're like where is this going?
LOTR was so successful because the WHY was to bring the ring to Mount Doom.
We all need to get to our Mount Doom, whatever the cost.
You have to think in terms of the absolute inevitability of realizing your dreams.
It's what will create belief when things get difficult.
If you lived long enough, you can realize anything.
So make 1 attempt today and you'll be one step closer to 10,000 like Thomas Edison.
