Over a thousand Palestinian militants were killed inside Israel on 10/7 and the days after. These were terrorists who invaded to murder, rape, and start a war. Here Mehdi treats those terrorists as innocent victims thus showing he views any Israeli response as illegitimate and justifying the “genocide” tag.

Not only was Israel not allowed to pursue the terror army into Gaza, but even fighting back inside Israel was apparently evidence of genocide for people like him. They simply refuse to differentiate between fighting a clearly defensible war and committing a genocide so arguments about whether Israel crossed some lines at some point become irrelevant.
