In 1941, Joseph Rutherford then President of Jehovah's Witness gathered thousands of youths at a convention and told them not to marry. That it is a waste of time and the world is ending.

They strongly discouraged marriage. Many adhered. When the world did not end, they revised the policy.

From 1920 they started isolating members. They banned them from celebrating any holiday or having association outside the organization.

From 1945 they introduced no-blood policy. So members should choose death over saving their lives via blood transfusion.

From 1960 till 2024 they highly discouraged higher education. Parents who send their children to university gets stripped off all organizational privileges and in some cases, ostracized.

In the 1970s they encouraged couples to confess if they explored any other forms of sex and disfellowshipped the spouse who initiated it. As a result, broke a lot of homes and marriages

It is not just about the unbiblical and irrelevant policies. It is the fact that they excommunicate anyone who breaks a policy. Nobody you ever know who is a member will talk to you again or associate with you. That includes your:

▪︎ friends
▪︎ parents
▪︎ siblings
▪︎ spouse

Ever.

Everything they teach is about doomsday and the end of the world. Everything is depressing. Every video they play in their kingdom halls is about encouraging people to:

▪︎ quit/forfeit school
▪︎ sell off their big houses
▪︎ turn down high paying jobs or any opportunity in life

▪︎ never do anything fun in life
▪︎ never have friends outside the organization
▪︎ disown and ostracize your family who are not members

▪︎ never be a normal human being
▪︎ preparing for the end of the world and how everyone you know will die

The day will come when the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses will realize that they are being loyal to a high-control religious cult and not God.

How many people were sentenced to death and beheaded in Nazi Germany for refusing to recite the national anthem?

How many are currently in prison for refusing to participate in politics by voting?

How many have died and allowed their loved ones die adhering to a no-blood policy?

How many families and lives ruined to disfellowshiping?

How many people have died believing they were obeying God?

The damage this organization has done to people's lives, families and ambitions is irreparable.

Even Charles Russell will not believe what his "church" has turned into.

I do not think it is possible to heal completely from the trauma and psychological damage after leaving this cult. You will never remain the same again. Nobody who woke up and left remained the same after.

I hope more European countries continue to label them extremists and ban them before they ruin more lives.

The damage these guys have done to lives, ambitions and families is irreparable.

They should continue deceiving themselves that they're a "worldwide esoteric brotherhood of the only true religion who will survive the incumbent war of Armageddon and enter paradise"

The worse part is that the Governing body of JW will never admit when they are wrong. Instead, when they revise a doctrine, they will gaslight people saying:

"While we are still against so and so oh, but it is now a matter of personal decision"

They do this to avoid accountability and any backlash that will ensue. So that while they are finally revising an age-long doctrine, you are still held captive by the cognitive dissonance.
