This might be my most explicitly Marxist comic to date, but in terms of total Marxism it's not really all that Marxist. Anyways, here's a pretty absurd comic that reference the labour theory of value for some reason:

I keep attempting to book a flu jab with @BootsUK, but they cancelling on me at the last moment. So I book again, I try different locations, then a last minute cancellation! Last year it went on the entire flu season, it's happened twice this year (so far). I'm truly pissed
People - including top US journalists, perhaps especially top US journalists - don’t quite get how bad it’s going to be. How beyond term one it’ll be. How bad the Musks and RFKs will be.
I don’t think even I fully accept how bad it’s going to be and I have been shouting how bad it’s going to be for years.
I only know one person as into Tolkien as I am, and they refuse to watch #RingsOfPower so I have no one to nerd out with ☹️
I want to gush about the good (Celebrimbor 😭) and whinge about the bad ("Grand-elf" my ass) with other nerds who can discuss respectfully and rationally
This crew bent over backwards to suck up to the right wing media.
They bragged of even bagging an endorsement from The Sun.
Then, after attacking pensioners and children, while drowning in freebies from rich donors, they claim victimhood.
Absolutely pathetic stuff.
The outline of my climate talk will be something more or less like this. Scenarios and IAMs of course will be brought up in section 3, but I circle back to them in the final section which is more policy oriented than the first 3 sections which are more physical.
I'm speaking for @GlasgowSkeptics tomorrow on climate models. I'll introduce what numerical modelling is, and then discuss a few different categories of climate models and how we are always working to improve them.

I would bet a lot of money that Starmer is going to privatise the NHS and I guarantee the result will be far, far worse. Trust me, Brits, you do NOT want American-style health care. The NHS needs help, but it's important that we save it.
My next public talk on climate for @GlasgowSkeptics will be almost 3 years to the day since my last one!
That prior one was about online disinformation, this one is about how we model climate.
If you're in #Glasgow come on by!
It says a lot about the far-right, whether it's the English rioters or the US Capitol insurrectionists, that they're so blinded by self-righteous anger they don't even stop to think "hey, maybe I shouldn't film my crimes"
TikTok Live has became the main source of footage of this summer's riots, sometimes streamed by people taking part in the disorder using easily-traced usernames.
Unfortunately the police have pointed out to us that they're also watching: https://t.co/xWq9Srk9Pr
If you actually give a shit abt the power of advertisers to affect a digital "town square", then what you should want is a publicly funded and publicly owned alternative. No algorithm, just a live feed of only ppl you choose to follow, and no incentive to sell your data for ad $
Rose remains one of the best entry points to Who, it captures a lot of aspects of the show in a single episode.
11th Hour and Woman Who Fell are both pretty good for new viewers but still expect you to know what Dr Who is already.
tbh, I don't know if Tim Walz is the *best* choice, but he really looks to be a very good if not great one! Someone who is media savvy, charismatic, and has decent (if not good) politics? Holy cow.
Let's do this shit. Let's fucking gooooooooooooooo
