Some observations I haven’t seen anyone comment on yet:
1) The knight has a gold ring on his ring finger. This may symbolize the newfound, timeless bond between the new financial powers that oversee the future’s equitable financial system (made possible by having everything interoperable and running through the XRPL). Prosperity and material-wealth is the new global status quo for the multipolar world. It could also be a victory ring of triumph and completion—a well deserved “mission accomplished” if you will. It symbolically pairs well with the bagpipes (another victory nod, particularly as Brad is the “knight”) and the hand of the law commemorating the moon-landing event with beers. Cha-Chingle indeed!
2) The antlers of the reindeer increase by 1, 2, & 3 horns with little dots on them, respectively. I don’t have any further interpretation (other than things seem to manifest in patterns of three lately, don’t they?)
3) If you zoom in on them, the shapes of the purple dots in the present remind me of an old Mr Pool post with similar shapes (don’t know if there’s truly any connection—there’s just a familiarity with the shapes upon further scrutinization, and perhaps the events we have all been patiently waiting for have “finally” arrived). I do lean towards @Common985 ‘s take that he shared in the comments here in BG’s post! Maybe it’s a $XX price appreciation as others have speculated?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Everyone! Onwards and upwards we forever dream!

HUGE news! @Ripple just received conditional approval from the @USOCC to charter Ripple National Trust Bank. This is a massive step forward - first for $RLUSD, setting the highest standard for stablecoin compliance with both federal (OCC) & state (NYDFS) oversight.
To the banking lobbyists – your anti-competitive tactics are transparent. You’ve complained that crypto isn’t playing by the same rules, but here’s the crypto industry – directly under the OCC's supervision and standards – prioritizing compliance, trust and innovation to the benefit of consumers. What are you so afraid of?
Ripple Swell: We’re collaborating with @Mastercard, WebBank, and @Gemini to introduce $RLUSD settlement on the XRP Ledger for fiat credit card payments, starting with the Gemini XRP Credit Card: https://t.co/lMQ5qnthLT
This initiative sets a new benchmark for institutional efficiency, enabling faster, compliant, and more transparent settlement within traditional finance.
The future of payments is here.
I remember VHS anime collecting right before DVDs took over…Funimation milking us dragon ball fans with 3 episode VHS tapes, then doing it all over again with DVDs 😂.
A couple high school friends and I settled for those cheaply produced Chinese bootleg “box sets” that had a whole series packed in a few DVDs…it wasn’t great and the subs were shit, but you just didn’t care back then when you could get a whole series for $30 🤣.
True to our long-standing compliance roots, @Ripple is applying for a national bank charter from the OCC. If approved, we would have both state (via NYDFS) and federal oversight, a new (and unique!) benchmark for trust in the stablecoin market.
Earlier in the week via @StandardCustody, we also applied for a Fed Master account -- while Congress is working towards clear rules and regulations, and banks (in a far cry from the years of Operation Chokepoint 2.0) are leaning in, this access would allow us to hold $RLUSD reserves directly with the Fed and provide an additional layer of security to future proof trust in RLUSD.
Ripple always has and will continue to build trusted, battle-tested and secure infrastructure. In a $250B+ market, RLUSD stands out for putting regulation first, setting the standard that institutions expect.
Today, @Ripple announced the acquisition of Hidden Road for $1.25B, one of the largest deals ever in the crypto space. But the price tag isn’t what’s most important – it’s that this deal marks a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for crypto to access the largest and most trusted traditional markets, and vice versa.
Prime brokers (along with other key functions historically managed by banks for the most part) like Hidden Road have proven themselves as *the* trusted intermediary for the largest hedge funds, market makers, OTC desks, quant traders and more. Ripple has been a customer of Hidden Road for years, and we know their breadth of expertise firsthand, clearing $3 TRILLION annually for 300+ of the top financial institutions globally.
This is the capital and activity that will tap into XRP and the XRP Ledger’s bread-and-butter – instant, efficient, scalable and low cost movement of value. Instead of waiting for <24 hours to settle trades through fiat rails, Hidden Road will be using XRPL for clearing a portion of trades, and most consequentially, using RLUSD as collateral across its prime brokerage services, including cross-asset (crypto and traditional instrument) trades.
With this deal and the backing of Ripple’s significant balance sheet, Hidden Road will exponentially expand its capacity to service its pipeline and become the largest non-bank prime broker globally.
Ripple and Hidden Road combined are a generational leap forward, ready to truly bring the worlds of traditional and decentralized finance together. https://t.co/UYOOyQ21dG
