@joannachadwick So in conclusion soccer has more scholarships available and they also have a smaller pool of people to split with. Since soccer roster limits are smaller than combined XC and T&F
@joannachadwick Max Scholarships available
D1- soccer up to 28 XC- 12-17 and split with track and field
D2- soccer - up to 9. XC- 12.6 split with track and field
NAIA - soccer - up to 12. XC - 12 split with T&F
NJCAA- soccer - up to 24. XC - 20 split with T&F again
@joannachadwick I’m giving you an example of a situation where someone would prioritize a club sport. But yes, lots of athletes play sports hoping for a scholarship. And maybe they are running cross country to stay in shape, maybe the CC coach needed more runners. Who knows
@DanBiancoNYC@Tsmith47@Siemers_XC_TF Just for a second imagine this is high level club soccer and the kid is the best on the team, but maybe they are only like 6th on the cross country team. Why wouldn’t they prioritize the team that gives them the best option at getting a scholarship
@IDFlolicon@geoffkeighley Makes us feel good? Abso-fucking lutely. These activists developers have fucked up game after game. Franchise after franchise.
@SuaKCravens Deion has gone 4-8, 9-4, and 3-9. He’s got a .432 win pct. Almost identical to Mike MacIntyre but he won 10 games one year. Deion might be a decent coach, but he talks like he’s accomplished something. Which he hasnt
@CoachHPrice Reasonable people absolutely the fuck use anonymity online unless you are a public figure. All it takes is for some activist liberal to take something out of context and report to your employer. And thats my dog. Benny. Who’s no longer with us
@CoachHPrice My guy. I haven’t been hurt by anyone. I’m as well adjusted and reasonable as they come. Non professional sports is about developing kids. Athletically and mentally. Punishing them for when their parents can take a vacation is a lame ass attempt at exerting control.
