Together with @medipex we are hosting a series of free online masterclasses for SMEs. This partnership will combine the unique and complimentary expertise of each organisation.
Next week, our first one focuses on the #Innovation Pathway.

British people cannot simply say hello when their friend enters the pub. Oh no no no.
Instead they must say “here he is!” or “who let you in?” Sometimes they might say “well look who decided to show up” even if the friend is on time. Or “fancy seeing you here!” or “who invited you?” despite the friend being invited and expected. Sometimes they might even say something that suggests they don’t recognise the friend at all, like “do I know you?” or “who are you and what have you done with John?” Maybe they’ll say “they just let anyone in here these days”, or “good timing, it’s your round”. Or perhaps they’ll simply let out a loud cheer.
But they will never just say hello.

A great day yesterday at the Propel 5 Launch Event & Reception with the @propelyh team at #NEXUS in Leeds. Super to meet the new cohort of digital health innovators ... for more information check out https://t.co/reIIoJQyta
Today, at over 50 years old I discovered there is something called #aphantasia. The inability to see a visual image in your mind ... WHAT? Can people actually see things as pictures in their head? How did I not know this is a thing?
I can 'picture' stuff too, but it's not visual.
As a nanny, then later a childminder & EY educator I only ever saw 'initial signs of being about to take first steps' or similar milestones. Somehow, those moments are imprinted in my memories alongside those of my own children! I missed precious firsts with @Will_Martz#SCBU
My son took his first steps in the living room with me whilst my wife was working late. That evening we watched together as our son took his first steps. A magical moment that she has treasured for years.
@wisewoodarmoury This is so sad. I recently lost my mum and when someone you love dies the impact is huge (whether you're expecting it or not). There's some practical advice that I personally found helpful here:

Colleague questioned about payment for on-call
had to come in, and obviously, put in time from phone call to coming back home as active (rather than standby) time
Someone actually checked parking records & emailed that travel time was excessive
‘I was tired so drove slowly’
@ThevalueofIMT Congratulations on your special award: 20 years of service to the NHS.
We all know it's 21 years in reality ... and you've loved every minute! Carry on being inspirational, challenging (pokey), collaborative, innovative and totally fabulous! #20years#NHSleaders
A lovely thread to stumble across on a Monday morning. We know patients continue to process events (e.g. footsteps, touches, sounds & voices) from around them, even in an unconscious state. My experience (as a child under sedation) was traumatic. I guess we knew less in the '80s
Inspiring to hear @NeillMoloney talk about the challenges faced across the NHS (at the all staff briefing) and say that 'the greatest limitation we place on ourselves is to limit our ambition'. So true, delighted that @ThevalueofIMT helps us push the boundaries #artofthepossible
Modern problems ... I honestly think this will be done in 10 minutes or so but who knows? I too am working on updates and reports, this will also take a while! #workingonupdates#NHSReports
@Dawn_French I'm sorry @Dawn_French but if you really are unrecognisable having had Covid-19 (resulting in glasses and pigtails), how do they know it is actually you? Something doesn't quite add up here. This is journalism at it's most paradoxical! #falsenews#dawnfrench#newcovidsymptoms
I've also worked at @StepChange, I know what impact debt has on both individuals and their families. As I look for my next job I can't help wonder whether I'll be someone needing support from these organisations that do so much for members of our community in such hard times. 3/3
As energy prices rise I thought today of an elderly man I met in my teens (in the 80s). He spent lots of time at the library as he couldn't afford to heat his home. He'd worked all his life but was on his own, facing a daily struggle to balance costs against a meagre income. 1/3
Now more people, who feel less safe going out because of Covid19, are facing this crisis. Local community libraries have been a lifeline, working even harder over the last few years to support the vulnerable in our community. (I worked with @SuffolkLibrary during lockdowns) 2/3
